“What Every Lawyer Should Know About DNA Evidence” – The innocence project reports as of February 2012 there have been 289 post conviction DNA exonerations in the United States. These DNA exoneration cases have provided irrefutable proof that wrongful convictions are isolated rare events. Lawyers that do not practice criminal law can use DNA evidence as well; in paternity matters, in probate matters on DNA analysis for the purpose of evidentiary presentation.

” The ABA Principles for Juries and Jury Trials” – The American Jury is a living institution that has played a crucial part in our democracy for more than 200 years. The American Bar Association recognizes the legal communities’ ongoing need to refine and improve jury practice so that the right jury trial is preserved and juror participation is enhanced.
